About Goddess Rags
Our Mission
I’m Janice Schmidt, the maker behind Goddess Rags with my studio in the Asheville, NC. I LOVE what I do and have the privilege of working with wonderful clients, making pretty things. I come from generations of makers. If we haven’t already met, I hope we do. If not, here’s what you should know about me. I believe in laughter, the power of nature, the power of loving and accepting one another, the power of learning and growing throughout our lives. I love pockets and women supporting women. I believe in family (not only our family of origin, also those we’ve gathered into the fold), I believe women should feel good about themselves through every phase of their lives. I believe dogs and babies are gifts from God. I believe in human dignity and our desire to have our lives matter. Thank you for blessing my life.
